There's an interesting article on how the Courier font used to dominate office landscapes. After all, Arial hasn't always been the predominant choice default setting. And there's hope it won't be.

This will hardly win a Hot Typography News prize, but here's yet another blog post about the premiere of Gary Hustwit's Helvetica film in Zürich, earlier this year, where I also attended the panel discussion.

For everyone who hasn't heard yet, in this lengthy informative monologue Spiekermann explains, once and for all, why Steve Jobs is to blame that even your mother uses Arial for her birthday invitations. Blame my spy cam for the sound quality.

People who don't see the point in discussing letterforms, this video might change your mind. Not.
