Uhm, wait, what's this..? The logo of the «Brazilian Institute for Oriental Studies» wins the Phallic Logo Awards, honoring some truly subversive (yet unintentionally so) graphic design. Priceless! |

Endlich ist es da!

Oder, endlich ist es durchgestanden. Je nach Standpunkt. Ich spreche natürlich vom Jahreswechsel. In meinem Fall eher: Schade ist es bereits vorbei! Da ich dazu momentan wenig mehr zu sagen weiss, verweise ich auf diese metaphorisch aufgeladenen, symbolschwangeren, ja von Bedeutungsschwere geradezu übersättigten Bilder, die ich heute Nachmittag in der Bronx aufgenommen habe. Another interesting Friday morning. We began with line drawing, using black ink and all sorts of twigs and brushes. I'm posting today's last little piece, where we had to draw the sitting model, but as a negative. Funny. |

Da ja überall in der Stadt allerhand Stars und Halbstars wohnen, lässt es sich nicht umgehen, ihnen hin und wieder über den Weg zu laufen. Beziehungsweise ihren schwarz gekleideten Muskelmännern, die die Gegend abriegeln (— What's going on in the store over there? – Method Man is coming!), oder Kamera-Assistentinnen, die einem das Wegrecht verweigern. |
