Camovelo
Briefed to create any kind of camouflage pattern, I set out to make a waterproof bicycle cover, with a bicycle repeat printed all over. The resulting product optically prevents thieves from stealing my bike. It is inspired by the zebra’s striped skin: The disruptive pattern protects the individual animal, because predators perceive the whole herd as one huge striped carpet.
In case you're not just wondering about this rather curious product, but also about its title: “Velo” is Swiss German for bicycle.
